There are misconceptions that some people are incapable of learning languages, that learning a language easily only happens in childhood, or that a person must have a special predisposition for learning languages. As an experienced teacher, I assure you that this is not true. There are difficulties in learning languages, but those that are insurmountable are so few that you can count them on the fingers of one hand.
We live in the information age... It so happens that most useful data in advanced and knowledge-intensive industries first appears in English. Technology is developing rapidly, but electronic translation tools into different languages still have many problems with accurately conveying meaning. The problem lies in the languages themselves; language is not just a set of words and rules; language is a cultural and historical mirror of its speakers. But where neural networks fail, humans are capable of reflecting and choosing the correct word from a dozen synonyms.
I teach you to think in English as if you were a native speaker. This doesn't mean you'll become English or American, but you'll learn to understand the meanings behind words.
